Salmon River Fishing Report

The time is Now It is on!! Call in sick, take vacation, quit your job, just get here or miss it.

Many of you know I stared my guiding business in what some refer to as the hay days.

Those days are now. The last two days I have seen a tremenedous amount of coho salmon making there way to the hatchery at a high, high rate of speed. Plenty of kings mixed in as well as trout. What a run of fish!

Look for most of them to be in the upper river in a day or two tops. We just don't get much of a chance with them, but man it is fun when we do!

Hopefully they keep pouring in and by the weekend most of the river should be lit up with fish.

I am booked solid until December but for what I am seeing for steelhead already, it looks like another banner year is upon us.
