Salmon River Fishing Report 3/10/08

Sorry for the lack of reports, but my main computer was hijacked and it is on the bench loaded with 100's of thousand of pieces of spyware. Not good. I was watching a fishing video of all things and bang I was hijacked. Even with the best of protection this new virus; Mirmar, got me. I hope our web guru can save it. He says it is bad stuff.
Anyway, I managed to load some photos on our other system so here we go.
Last weekend (3/1,2) was tough with a lot of people and cold temps Scott and Mark toughed it out for both days and we managed to hit a few each day.
Monday and Tuesday found Jimmy & Mike (AKA) The Albany boys, ready to do battle. We hit them pretty good on Monday, but the landing percentage was not good.
Tuesday, we took less bites but got most of them.
Thursday and Friday, I had lucky Regan & Mike. These guys always seem to hit them at the right time. Thursday we floated Pineville to the Ball park and hit them all the way down landing six. Today we dug in and floated Pineville to Rt 2a. We hit them good again with one spot producing six alone. That will make your day!!
Good mix of fresh, dark steelhead and a few browns, including a big male that we didn't get a photo of. Two great days with spectacular weather. Now the weekend. cold wind, snow, sleet, rain. When will it quit.
Stay tuned. I will have that report later today  if I can get the photos uploaded.
