Oswego River 20 King, 20 pound Steelhead
Kevin Davis from Catch the Drift Guide Service recently landed two 20 pounders.
A 20 pound steelhead is a fish of a lifetime, but then you throw in a 20 chinook, that makes for a day to remember.
We always see a few salmon run the rivers in the Spring. Some are spawners and some are fresh fish that just come in to check things out. We took a coho last month in the Salmon river and a guide I know used to target salmon in the Oswego Harbor in March and April and do OK with them. When you set the hook, you never know.
