New York B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Announces 2010 12-Man State Team

Calcium, NY - The NYBCF is proud to announce their 12-man state team scheduled to complete at the 2010 B.A.S.S. Eastern Divisional Championship. During this championship the NY team will fish against the other 12-man state teams from Rhode Island, Connecticut, Ontario Canada, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Vermont.  To qualify NY anglers fished tournaments that spanned a three month period and they averaged approximately 850 miles across the state from event to event.  The season started in June along the state's eastern boundary at scenic Lake George. From there it moved northwest to the Canadian border waters of the mighty St. Lawrence River, and then headed to heart of the state at Brewerton NY on Oneida Lake with the season finale in September in the Finger Lakes Region on Cayuga Lake.   This year smallmouth waters dominated the trail with the biggest 5-fish limit of the season coming off the St. Lawrence River with a weight of 18.66 lbs.
