Some good news for a local North Country business-despite a struggling economy and soaring costs for gas and materials Great Lakes Planers out of Three Mile Bay, NY has already double their sales from last year. Great Lakes Planers manufactures boat mountable trolling and rod storage systems for fishing. The husband and wife team of Tony and Ronda Salerno started the business in June of 2006, and working out of their garage, have managed to build a company from an idea into a highly successful venture.
