FISH HAWK UPGRADE PACKAGE AVAILABLE

For Immediate Release: December 2, 2009 Brainerd, Minnesota – Since the mid-1980s, thousands of anglers across the Great Lakes region have trusted their Fish Hawk Model 840 to provide them with accurate water-temperature and speed information to help them catch more fish.

Introduced last season, the newest generation Fish Hawk, the X4 System, has been receiving great reviews from angler-users. The X4 delivers superior deepwater performance (a guaranteed minimum of 200 feet) from a leak-proof probe that is 40 percent smaller than the original. Four AA batteries give the X4 probe over 100 hours of battery life. The slim-profile LCD display has magnum-sized digits visible from the back of the boat when trolling.

Conveniently, the Fish Hawk X4 plugs into the same power cord and transducer that were used by the Fish Hawk 840. This means that anglers who already own a Fish Hawk 840 can simply install the new display and plug in their existing power cord and transducer.

“Fish Hawk has always used a top-of-the line transducer. Some have been in the field over 25 years and are still going strong,” said Fish Hawk’s Trevor Sumption. Sumption added, “Not having to mount a new transducer or run a new power cord means you don’t have to drill more holes in the boat, and it saves the fisherman money.”

The Fish Hawk upgrade package includes the Fish Hawk X4 Probe, LCD Display, and gimbal mount, and is expected to sell for less than $500. For more information visit a Fish Hawk Dealer or www.fishawkelectronics.com
