Patty and I ended up slamming the steel heads for our last river trip of spring, time to hit the big pond we’ll be back come October. Started out kind of slow with a few plug bites and our guide “Troy” was getting a little stressed out, Patty and I knew better Troy has never let us down when it comes to fishing. It wasn’t much longer before we landed our first fish and from there on out the bite was on, as always we lost count I believe it was somewhere around landing of 10-11 and having at least 20 or more hits. White and blue was the ticket and I do believe we took a few on the glow bead, Thanks Troy you kept Patty and very busy this past winter and spring looking forward to the fall. Here are a few pictures and look at the bend in the rod with one of Patty’s fish, all fished where released to fit another day.
